This surreal and figurative painting explores how much this inner dialogue conditions our relationships.
I worked on the draft for months, and finally opted for a situation which recalls Caravaggio’s “Dinner in Emmaus”, seeking a convivial situation that also reflects the master's style. The positions of the characters mirror those in Caravaggio’s painting, as do the lights. The painting technique is realistic but vibrant, with visible brush strokes and strong lights and shades.
