We
print straight onto brushed aluminum boards.
The printed segments of the image are mat and the non-printed parts
of the image have a metallic look. As a result, the brushed aluminum
remains visible for a shimmering industrial effect.
In some artworks
the metallic area represents sky or water, in others it serves as
interesting background.
Artists can create exciting effects with images printed on a brushed aluminium composite. While darker areas of the image appear matte, the aluminium surface shines through in lighter areas of the image, leaving an elegant silver shimmer.
For some artists, the brushed aluminum is the solid foundation for an urban idea turned into modern artwork.
