Esta obra parte de un homenaje al pintor modernista español Ramón Casas (1866–1932) y a su obra "Ramón Casas y Pere Romeu en automóvil"; el cuadro sigue estéticamente los postulados de esquematismo, silueteado, tintas planas, sentido del humor y un lenguaje publicitario que se anticipa unas cuantas décadas al pop art.

En este caso, la obra está realizada conjuntamente con el pintor Juan Antonio Martínez Tendero, donde se reparten figura/fondo. La obra mezcla técnicas y estilos, donde se conjugan las tintas planas del pop art y la ilustración con fondos muy matéricos, texturados y collage.

Al igual que en el cuadro de Ramón Casas, también viajan dos buenos amigos compartiendo un viaje por el mundo del arte en toda su amplitud. El viaje del artista nunca termina y, por tanto, tampoco se sabe dónde nos lleva; así como todas las paradas que pueden encontrar en el camino.
