This breathtaking artwork showcases a stunning scene of icebergs in a serene ocean setting. The vibrant shades of blue in the ice contrast beautifully with the soft, muted tones of the sky, creating a sense of tranquility and majesty. The dynamic interplay of light and shadow highlights the intricate textures and shapes of the ice, while the distant mountains provide a dramatic backdrop, enhancing the overall depth of the composition. This painting captures the essence of nature’s grandeur and will transport viewers to a tranquil icy landscape.
This painting can be used effectively in various interior settings, such as living rooms, offices, or modern kitchens, where it can serve as a focal point that encourages conversation and contemplation. It complements minimalist decor, adding a touch of natural beauty, and fits well in spaces designed for relaxation or creativity, like a reading nook or meditation area.
Crystal Sound, located off the Antarctic Peninsula just north of the Antarctic Circle, hosts many massive icebergs being constantly buffeted by the ocean waves.

Sandra Herber

Toronto, Canada
Sandra Herber is an avid amateur photographer living in Toronto, Canada. She works as a librarian but spends all her vacation time, and disposable income, on photography and travel. She was born in South Africa, and has lived in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Malaysia. Her love of photography started in her teens when her mother gave her an old Pentax Spotmatic and her parents allowed her to set up a black and white darkroom in the basement where she developed film and printed a lot of pretty terrible pictures. She switched from film to digital in 2007 and is thrilled that her work has developed enough since those early days to have garnered awards in international competitions such as the Sony World Photography Awards, le Prix de la Photographie Paris, the Minimalist Photography Awards, and the International Photography Awards and to be featured in publications in print and online. In recent years she has been drawn almost exclusively to cold climates in Canada, the Arctic and Antarctic.
