This captivating artwork features a harmonious composition of three figures, gracefully intertwined against a vibrant blue background. The figures are depicted in an ethereal, fluid style, with soft contours and flowing lines that evoke a sense of movement and depth. Each figure showcases unique features, enhancing their individuality while contributing to the overall theme of unity and connection. The subtle highlights and delicate shadings add dimension, while their expressions convey a blend of serenity and contemplation. This piece embodies the fluidity of human form and experience, making it visually engaging and thought-provoking. This striking painting would serve as an excellent focal point in various interior spaces. It could enhance the ambiance of a modern living room, bringing a sense of movement and emotional resonance to the decor. Alternatively, it would fit beautifully in a creative workspace or studio, inspiring creativity and contemplation. Consider placing it above a neutral-toned sofa or in a gallery wall arrangement to create a curated look.
My work is born out of a specific, but quite diverse community: The models depicted are artist peers across all ages, ethnic origins, and orientations belonging to the Brooklyn arts collective/residency platform I’ve been running for a decade+. My painting studio also serves as a presentation arena for experimental co-productions spanning multiple creative disciplines. And so, my images are typically shared with the public within a live art setting, where dancers, musicians, and acrobats —often the very same people portrayed in my imagery— perform alongside and in dialog with my paintings.
