However, growing up in the countryside with a view to the factory of the Ilseder slag utilization, the field of tension of industry and nature has shaped me from childhood. These motifs always return to my work. However, this is not directly about memories, rather about the question, which can trigger a memory in us. We can't keep our whole life present. But there are moments, a certain scent, a landscape, a sound that brings out these memories. It is about this consciously perceived moment, which is linked to something from the past and thus creates a familiar feeling. |
