Oil on linen 40x50x2cm (15.7x19.7x0.8in) 2015, ready to hang.
The inspiration for this painting comes from a photo shot by a friend of mine. The girl was amused by the behaviour of her baby after she received a new balloon: she liked it so much that she took it everywhere she was going. When I saw the photo I decided to make a painting of it, this is the result.
“A new arrival” is an oil on linen painting ready to hang. It is stretched on a wooden canvas and accompanied with a unique certificate of authenticity.
