Like the soundtrack on the web video, I lived in an “end of the world” atmosphere. As if I were watching the trailer for a Hollywood film!!! It was in this “mood” that “Ardent” was born. In my head, the picture took shape. Warm colors almost reminiscent of hell. I tried to recreate a gradient starting from red on the left side, ending in yellow at the other end of the painting. The omnipresent black also brings depth, movement and this atmosphere of a firestorm. I completed this feeling of movement with some more intense color projections. The gradient also suggests this progression, the hearth of this furnace starting from the left to extend to the right. It's as if the painting is burning away before our eyes. Finally, the sparkling black reliefs also added to the central part are reminiscent of embers. Infinite pleasure !
