This vibrant artwork presents an aerial view of a bustling cityscape, created with a unique technique that accentuates the outlines of the skyscrapers and streets. The various buildings are depicted in a lively array of colors, including neon greens, reds, and yellows set against a contrasting dark background. This lively composition conveys an energetic atmosphere, capturing the essence of urban life from a bird's-eye perspective. The interplay of colors adds depth and dimension, making the piece feel dynamic and modern. This piece appeals strongly to those who appreciate contemporary urban art and vibrant color palettes. This painting can enhance the ambiance of a modern office or a stylish living room, creating a focal point that sparks conversation. Its energetic and vibrant colors make it ideal for spaces aiming for a contemporary and lively atmosphere, such as cafes, coworking spaces, or art-centric homes. The unique city view can resonate well within urban settings, making it a perfect fit for environments that celebrate city life.
The painting represents a glimpse of Tokyo on two different layers: the first one is a polycarbonate sheet painted with debossed colours that represent the colourful city, while the second one is the underlying canvas painted with stratified acrylics and treated with special techniques. The two surfaces, uniting, create one composition where the layers blend with each other and result in news perceptive solutions. Moreover, the sheet is placed so that it creates a waving effect that comes out of the painting, giving it a third dimension; that put in contact the viewer with the work and creates ate the same time a mixture of lights and shadows that mutate as the viewer moves. Furthermore it is a "monochrome" with blue tones on a blue background. It also features a blue timeline lasting 22.23 minutes. The timeline arises from the interaction between the artist and chance. The line is a real line drawn by the artist on the surface of the polycarbonate sheet, respecting a limited color and time obtained from random procedures. The line follows the contours of the elements of the landscape that is constructed in the painting, incorporating various elements (roads, houses, buildings...) without taking into account the boundaries between one and the other, thus creating homogeneous masses of the same colour.
