The artist describes the story of this painting as follows.

“A beauty looks out of the window at a lizard lingering on the wall. A slight smile touches her lips. Her facial features show inner peace and harmony. Another moment and she comes into the light, towards a hot day, or she steps back and disappears again into the cool dark room. There is only one moment between the past and the future. And this moment is fantastically beautiful. I wanted to capture that”.
