Germany, Nordrhein-Westfalen
My name is Angelina Linnenschmidt and I am a 20-year-old artist from Germany. I have always loved creating and started doing it when I was a child. My uncle plays a special role in my interest in art. Almost every year for my birthday he drew a picture with chalk on the wall of the house. My neighbor also supports my passion for creating. In 2018 she gave me a table easel and some art supplies. This led to me painting on a canvas for the first time and also on an easel at the same time. In early 2023, I started posting about my art on Instagram and TikTok, sharing the process and taking my art even more seriously. Sharing the painting process on social media allows other people to gain insight into the creation of my artwork. I want to inspire and encourage people to be creative and look at life with an artistic eye. I want to take away their fear of creating something and bring their inner child to life, pursue their dreams and follow their passion. Painting always reminds me of what I am capable of. Seeing my ideas become reality is very rewarding for me, just as the process is calming for me. Acrylic paint is the medium I primarily use to paint with, but I also like to experiment with and combine other media. Because I constantly want to grow, try new things and experiment with different styles, my style changes often. Nevertheless, images with a chrome/gloss look and portrait images, as well as more abstract images - are works of art that I mainly and particularly enjoy creating.
