I was very touched by the feature film Interstellar and the desire to create a painting using markers from the film came naturally. So I tried to oppose two worlds. The 1st in the lower left part recalls the dying earth, swept by sandstorms by choosing these colors and textures evoking earth and dust. The 2nd, in the upper right part, is the prospect of finding a new habitable planet, like our Earth with images evoking life, and the elements conducive to its development: plants, water , the air. Between these two universes, an interpretation of a black hole, another major element of the film. Finally, the two sparkling black masses recalling the universe and its stars which give the impression of disintegrating, as if sucked towards the black hole, symbolize, if we look at them together, an hourglass. Time, another omnipresent marker in this film.
