Grounded and in spirit

This painting remind us of the two-fold energy. One that reminds us to be grounded and the other to know that we are spirits in human forms. The painting shows lots of movement with a central focus point. From here our eyes are pulled upward, where the level of the unseen is and then downward where the level of roots and ground is. We are both grounded and in the unseen world. I aim to remind people of these two levels of state by achieving vibrancy and light in my work. The technique is swift, spontaneous and yet completely focused on the detail as well. This also reminds us of how there are different perspectives of our lives, seeing it from the detailed level and the bigger perspective.
