This captivating painting showcases an ethereal landscape featuring a historic castle or palace set against a dreamy backdrop. The structure is depicted in soft, flowing lines, with hints of architectural detail, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The surrounding scenery blends seamlessly into a watercolor-like panorama of colors that transition from warm yellows to tranquil blues and soft pinks. The river reflects this color palette, enhancing the fluidity and harmony of the composition. A solitary figure in a boat can be seen, adding a touch of life to the serene setting, evoking themes of tranquility and contemplation. Overall, the artwork invites the viewer into a peaceful, dreamlike world, emphasizing beauty and serenity.
This painting makes for a stunning focal point in various interior spaces. It would be well-suited for a living room, providing a vibrant and calming ambiance, or in a bedroom for a soothing effect. Additionally, it can enhance offices or waiting areas, inspiring creativity and relaxation. The soft colors and abstract nature create an inviting atmosphere wherever it is displayed.
Creation has always been present in my life. I studied in private workshops before embarking on a professional career as a painter in 2015. From this date, painting is part of my daily life, I regularly participate in individual and collective exhibitions. I am a member of several national and international bodies. I love nature and I create colours and lights that will magnify it. I give my own sensations to the colours of the landscapes of Provence, and other beautiful regions of France that inspire me.  | My research is of the order of aesthetics and light, and when I move away from the figurative, my creations include elements of the real, making it possible not to be lost in the abstract of colours. I like to focus on the freedom of gesture that creates landscapes with colourful and bright reliefs and valleys. My creative process begins with the choice of colours, then by composition and finally, I place benchmarks that allow you to recognise landscapes and I specify their existence by real elements. “Véronique Degabriel”
