Abstract painting and media art meets typography. Popart goes 4 letter words. The Stuttgart native started out as a musician and radio DJ and came to art in the late 90s. With his "4letterart" the artist uses image content and words to provide impulses and inspiration on the topics of our time. Pieces from pop culture are brought to new life as a remix. Ads from fashion magazines, song and film quotes, old illuminated letters or vintage musical instruments reinterpreted using screen printing technology. Whether as a collage, on record sleeves or as an installation - Georg Steidinger varies themes, materials and techniques and thus puts things in a new context.
