At the start of this painting, I sought to create a personal interpretation of what prehistory reminded me of. I wanted to transcribe the wild character of this era. The ideas that then came to my mind were the discovery of fire, life turned towards nature, raw materials and elements (stones, plants, etc.) but also the animal aspect. Animal skins and the first patterns drawn on the walls of certain caves. This is why the colors chosen to create this painting were warm tones and black. The shapes and colors on the canvas evoke these drawings, the shadows that dance on the walls of the caves to the rhythm of the flames, the embers, the stripes and/or stains of the skins of wild animals. This painting will bring an original and exotic touch to your interior decoration.
