It’s all examples of smells that carries memories of places and moments that stays with you, and the smell will easily take you back. I base my artwork on memories of places and experiences that is reinterpreted and reinvented through colour. The abstraction brings forth the essence and express specific moods and emotions of the experience, elevating the subject from place to atmosphere. I create my artworks in soft pastel that allows for exceptional degrees of intensity and fluidity and opens up for lyrical interpretations and make my compositions vibrate with character as it comes to life.
