It’s springtime and the shadows are cold and long in contrast to the warm sun rays that changes the landscape and make all the colours reappear all around this time of the year. Spring is full of life and expectations, the warmer weather and longer days change our lives. The gardening season starts and we say hello to our neighbors for the first time in months. Buds and birds pop up everywhere and enemies a drowsy bumblebee stirs in the warm rays of sun. This artwork is imbued with this excitement and joy. This artwork is created in soft pastel that allows for exceptional degrees of intensity and fluidity and opens up for a lyrical interpretations. I use handmade soft pastels on 300 g cold pressed cotton paper with thin layers of fixative, this artwork needs the protection of glass.
