The cypresses

Creation has always been present in my life. I studied in private workshops before embarking on a professional career as a painter in 2015. From this date, painting is part of my daily life, I regularly participate in individual and collective exhibitions. I am a member of several national and international bodies. I love nature and I create colours and lights that will magnify it. I give my own sensations to the colours of the landscapes of Provence, and other beautiful regions of France that inspire me.  |  My research is of the order of aesthetics and light, and when I move away from the figurative, my creations include elements of the real, making it possible not to be lost in the abstract of colours. I like to focus on the freedom of gesture that creates landscapes with colourful and bright reliefs and valleys. My creative process begins with the choice of colours, then by composition and finally, I place benchmarks that allow you to recognise landscapes and I specify their existence by real elements. “Véronique Degabriel“
