I fell in love with the ocean after learning to Scuba dive and this inspired me to paint "The Wave" on a 2-metre panel, blending the raw power of the ocean with simple geometric shapes. Original oil painting on aluminium panel, unframed but has subframe on the back and is ready to hang.

He was also a three-time consecutive finalist in the prestigious Archibald Prize from 2011 to 2013.
In 2015, Marcus's commitment to artistic excellence was recognized with the highly sought-after Black Swan Portrait Prize, (rebranded the Lester Prize), placing him among Australia's elite realist portrait artists.
