El título y la obra hace referencia a la letra de “LOS LEONES” del grupo musical Gerba Monkey del que es autor el artista multidisciplinar Alejandro Santoyo (inspirado en el pasaje bíblico del profeta Daniel cuando es arrojado a los leones). El texto es llevado al lienzo en un paisaje aislado y solitario donde no hay ninguna figura humana dentro de un contexto de intervención en la naturaleza (vías y estación de ferrocarril) pero que la naturaleza misma con el paso del tiempo se encargará de volver a su estado natural.
