Statement on my work I have a special interest in repetitive structures, schematic patterns and the dominance of monochrome colour combinations. The random accumulation of tulip heads, grasses or fruits etc., discovered on markets and photographed there, provide me with an aesthetic appeal, which in turn is the initial ignition for the creation of an image or a series of images. On my scenic way, I dissolve myself from the photographic motif by transferring the structures held there on the white canvas with the pencil, this multiplication and overhead. With this intention, I series flowers, leaves, stems, fruits, but also technical motifs, such as cables and cables, on the screen format additively to one another. The linear structure formed on the screen, which can occur in a round, convex, linear horizontal or vertical manner, is then embedded by me in a picturesque, monochrome color field. On the primed canvas work with small brushes, use oil paint and build the plasticity of the motifs multilayered with a photorealistic working method. During the painting process, I change my viewing distance to the image up to 3m. The effect of the painting area immediately in front of the picture is a very picturesque with pasty color application. The further I distance myself from the image, the more concrete, three-dimensional and photorealistic, is the effect of the illustrated motif. This multifaceted viewing game with different levels of perception is my desired goal. Another focus of my work is the decision for the dominance of a color, depending on the motif I choose. With the decision for the motif “Tomaten”, the decision for the color field “Rot” falls. Here my focus is on the energetic force of the color field. By working out the motif in a nuanceous way, i.e. with countless different reds, I achieve an energetically charged plasticity that charges the room. In the future, I intend to realize my image motifs on significantly larger image formats, so that the viewer is even more impressed by the effect of the structure and color of my images.
