Sculptural wall hanging maze made of wood and plaster of Paris, 2021 This artwork represents judgement and confusion that lies within a three-dimensional maze. They are being watched and they might be judged. They judge because they might be watched. If they say something inappropriate, it shall be used against them. They have no chance to change THEIR opinion nor the narrative THEY created about them. There is a constant urge to hide parts of ourselves from others in order not to be judged. THEY should start loving rather than judging. Are they really being stared at or is it just their own perception of reality? Do we see human beings for who they really are? What if we were less judgemental? Each of these wood pieces which are coated in plaster of Paris are handcrafted and took over 150 hours to create.
