Daria Lepkova

Daria Lepkova was born in Kazakhstan in January 1983. At the age of 10, Daria moved to Sankt-Petersburg with her parents. There she studies the basics of classical painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2001 she visited Croatia for the first time. "It was love at first glance! The breathtaking combination of turquoise in clear water with the cadmium gold rays of the sun was impressed forever. ... " In 2009 she completed her studies for art and restoration at the state academy for art painting, sculpture and architecture i.e.repin in St. Petersburg, Russia. Daria Lepkova's painting is close to hyperrealism: attention to detail, a precise, almost documentary representation of reality and at the same time with drawing qualities it does not become a dry photographic fact. Bright colors and rich colors are harmoniously balanced with silver under tones. The clarity of individual objects directs the viewer's eye to the main problem with which the artist deals with. The attractive color generated by its happiness is contrasting to the seriousness of the chosen topic and promotes thinking about the ecological relationship between man and the environment.
