Following the childlike order - dynamism in the confusion of the color world - oh sweet time from which I have grown up. | Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich | Diana Drubach's pictures should make everyone want to be a child again. The forbidden territory that you no longer enter as an adult is opened up to everyone. The strong colors, the playful elements, and the overlapping of the motifs serve as a source of motivation for the adults, i.e. for the viewer, to re-enter the forgotten playful world.
Her works show a cosmos in which gigantic and powerful little things fall, float and fly. Different objects move as if in a chaotic firmament, in infinite space, in an indefinite time.
They are mostly familiar objects that seem colossal in this cosmos. Some of them will be seen through and some will remain hidden forever.
Born in Ukraine, Diana Drubach moved to Germany at the age of 10, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and currently lives and works in Munich.
