My name is Eva and I am an artist who transforms places, moments, stories and emotions into visual narratives through works, objects and fabrics. I approached the world of art by observing the beauty of small things. As I grew up I felt the need to transform those emotions into something tangible. For me, art is a way of telling stories and creating deep connections between the observer and the world around them. Since 2000, after completing my studies, I have collaborated with professionals in the fields of design, construction and art, developing an interdisciplinary approach that enriches each creation with a unique synthesis of aesthetics, technique and sensitivity towards materials and context. The most recent works focus on experimental and innovative techniques, such as botanical printing, natural extracts and cyanotype. Through these practices, I seek to capture the fleeting beauty of nature and transform it into an eternal artistic expression. Natural, or botanical, printing is not only a bridge between art and design, but also represents a return to origins: a rediscovery of environmentally friendly materials and processes. Through the recovery of fallen leaves, withered flowers, peels and roots, transforming what would be destined for decline into evidence of an aesthetic that celebrates transience and intrinsic beauty.
