Gaby Kutz

Gaby Kutz studied painting from 1988 to 1993 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Professor Michael Buthe. There she graduated as a master student in 1994. Kutz is a member of the BBK (board member 2012-2014) and a member of the Gedok-Köln. Gaby Kutz has been working as a freelance artist with numerous exhibitions at home and abroad since 1994. "Exchange between remembering, comparing and recognizing" Gaby Kutz has been securing artistic evidence for decades and has created an extensive work. It includes numerous groups of workers and series. All of your work document private and socio-political time, everyday life and résumés and goals for memory work. Contents and motifs change from iconic moments, on current social issues, to portraits of well -known personalities to private, domestic scenes or their own biographical traces and notes. The artist uses the fundus of private photo albums and her own biography, creating figurative collective with representations of children's poses from the 1960s to the 2000s.
