Jochen Cerny

München
Jochen Cerny, born in Düsseldorf, discovered his artistic skills and passion for photography at a young age. He owes this to both his grandmother, a passionate amateur photographer with an extraordinary sense of S/W pictures, as well as his father, who worked as a marketing consultant with renowned advertising photographers. After studying law, he first tried as a photographer, but chose a career as an investment banker in New York, London and Frankfurt. He rediscovered his passion for photo art, especially inspired by a reunion with the world -famous photographer Andreas Gursky, a friend from his youth. Motivated by this recognition, he made the decision to professionalize his passion and to define himself through his own art form or To develop further. Jochen's photo art stands out from the generally known classic photography by using his self-developed and perfected "CMPB technology", which turns various, individual digital "post-production processes" into a unique form of photo art. The object is changed by conscious color manipulation so that the viewer is suggested to move primarily in a color space that finds a direct influence on its perception. However, the nature of the object is not alienated; The viewer should always recognize the basic features of the photographed object. In addition, his newer works are increasingly being similar to abstract paintings when the camera exposure and movement correspond to each other and change the aperture. This digital photopainting is unique among modern photographers because abstract shapes and objects remain in the foreground. Existing objects with their own artistic aesthetics themselves become new works of art. "Color Creates atmosphere": his pictures deliberately do not tell "story" in the classic sense but put the viewer into a color spectrum that has a positive effect on him. Jochen Cerny's works quickly found recognition in international art circles. He received several international awards (including Trierenberg Super Circuit, Monochrome Awards, Viewbug, Photo Forum Magazin) and already showed his pictures in numerous exhibitions in Hong Kong, Laguna Beach, Paris, London, Zurich, Tokyo, New York and numerous places IN GERMANY.
