Kamila Ossowska - Born in 1990. in Chojnice. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. She studied painting and drawing in the studio of prof. Andrzej Sadowski, where she obtained a diploma in painting.
The way of expression in her work is drawing and painting. The artist uses oil and drawing techniques with the use of pencil and coal. Creativity oscillates around figurative art, detailing the female figure. Often tinged with eroticism, they radiate feminine sensuality and consciously aimed provocation. Her works are inspired above all by existential loneliness, obsessions, and spiritual discomfort - in combination with the erotic aspect, fascinating, indifferent works are created. Building a picture with the use of light and a sensitive treatment of the situation creates a specific character and combines her achievements stylistically.
The fascination with the body, however, goes beyond what is only associated with eroticism. Nudity is only a natural disinterested state, the beauty of the visible world. Using various means of expression, the artist searches for the hidden, unfinished, turbulent sides of the female interior, which is part of it. Often the apparently stratified and understated fuzzy form of nudes opens up unlimited scope for individual interpretations and tasting of this art in its own way.
In 2020, the artist began a project on abstract painting. Speaking with color, light and texture, the artist seeks minimalist harmony, beauty and answers to eternal questions: Who are we really? Where are we heading? Without references to objectivity, Ossowska's abstract paintings address issues related to energy and consciousness. The result is mystical images marked by extraordinary emotional power.
Her works are in many private collections in Poland and abroad.
