"My ultimate goal is that my paintings inspire joy and connection in those who experience them. I believe that color has the power to evoke deep emotions and create a sense of connection to the world around us. My abstract paintings are a celebration of that connection, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a world of vibrant, dynamic color. My abstract paintings are created with a free and spontaneous approach, allowing the colors and shapes to flow naturally and intuitively. Each painting is a unique exploration of color relationships and the interplay between light and shadow. I am fascinated by the way that colors interact with each other, creating depth and movement within the composition. For me, the process of creating is just as important as the finished product. I find great joy in the act of painting, losing myself in the process and allowing my intuition to guide me. I strive to create a sense of playfulness and freedom in my work, encouraging viewers to explore their own emotional responses to the colors and forms on the canvas." Linda Coppens is a Belgian contemporary abstract painter. From an early age she demonstrated an innate artistic talent but could not pursue an art education at that time, instead she earned a Master in Psychology. But her interest in art remained and about twenty years later she pursued an art education at the Academy of Visual Arts in Liedekerke, Belgium. In 2020, she moved to Torrevieja, Spain, where she currently resides. Linda Coppens has exhibited extensively in Belgium, US, France and Luxembourg. Her art is found in many private collections worldwide.
