Sarah Cooper

I am a self taught artist and didn’t start till later in life, I love colour, layering and texture. I usually work with acrylic on stretch canvas but have been known to experiment, recently working with ink pen and painting directly onto ceramics and resin . I find inspiration from artist such as Gustav Klimt, Jackson Pollock and Ablade Glover, for me personally , nothing is more inspiring than a blank canvas , I mostly have an idea of what im going to paint but often it can take me in a completely different direction, a bit like life. I spend my time between Spain and the UK, in my free time I indulge in good food , wine , friends , family and music. I hope my art expresses contentment and brings others a similar pleasure.
