Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts—University of Mimar Sinan in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Lived in Toronto, Canada between 1971-2009; Worked for Scholastic Canada Ltd., in Toronto
between 1979-2009, first as Graphic Designer and later as Art Director.
Living and painting full time in Southampton, Ontario since 2009.
In early years Yükselle experimented in the ancient Türkish art of marbling. This technique of painting
on a basin of water gave her the freedom of movement which later on transformed into canvases.
Flowing clouds, waves and landscapes are born as “Realism In Fantasy”.
As a nature worshiper, Yükselle takes great pleasure in gardening, hiking, swimming and photography.
She believes in nourishing the artistic soul with music and reading.
