This striking artwork presents a powerful and thought-provoking portrait of a figure wearing a baseball cap adorned with the word "STOP". The artwork expertly blends vivid colors and abstract elements, creating a stark contrast against a dark backdrop that enhances the subject's profile. The play of light and shadow brings depth to the face, emphasizing the contours and expressions, while splashes of purple, yellow, and green add an energetic flair. The use of mixed media techniques gives the piece a textured appearance and a contemporary vibe, making it a captivating focal point for any room.
This artwork can serve as an impactful statement piece in various interior settings. It is ideal for modern living rooms, creative workspaces, or contemporary galleries where it can inspire conversation. Placing it above a sleek sofa or in an art corner can draw attention and elevate the room's aesthetic. Its bold colors make it versatile enough to complement both minimalist and eclectic decor styles.

Sou da rua. Nela fiz minha morada: casa, comida, roupa rasgada.

Sou a rua.

I am from the street. I made my home there: home, food, torn clothes. I am a product of the asphalt, I grew up in the open air, seeing everything up close. Ladies at midnight, prostitutes at noon, young men grappling, kissing; sharpened knives, the early morning sludge that runs down the bodies lying there, senseless, dead from everything, from everyone.

I am the street. A sparkling soul, the silence of the early morning on a tightrope, loose and ready to break at any moment, which in the sun tightens into multicolored lights that pass by, marking the asphalt. Displacements of bodies, sweaty, tired, now haunted in the darkness of the night that falls upon me... I am the body and soul of the street that floats there.
