This painting was created in October on a rainy, windy day on the beach on the Danish island of Ærø in the Baltic Sea. A dark rain cloud was approaching and a few drops reached the watercolor. The high humidity allowed me to paint in an exciting way, as it favored soft color transitions. The dark, blue-grey sky dominates the upper part of the picture. The sea and beach are indicated in light ochre, gray and blue-green. In the center is a large boulder, characteristic of this beach. I used 300gr laid paper as a painting surface. The watercolor is fixed on a grey passe-partout cardboard measuring 60x80 cm. My signature is on the front.
