This is a limited edition of 25 prints on high-quality glass laminate. The inspiration for my Artefact Alcoholica came from the beauty and aesthetics of over 100-year-old art bottles used by a painter for his work. The painting is created by reworking the photographed unique pieces and then collaging the files in the computer, in which the bottles are relabeled with new and world-famous alcohol brands. By printing on a canvas and then painting and drawing over it, a completely new, abstract artifact is created on a new meta-level.

My artistic career reflects a lively journey through the world of art. After an internship in the Georg Fickenscher graphic studio in 1987, study visits to Italy and southern France followed. From 1989 to 1994 I completed my studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart under the guidance of Prof. Günther Jacki. Membership in the artist group "NORDFRANKEN" marked an important step in my career, followed by the founding of my own advertising agency in the Wacker factory, Mühltal, after graduating as a graphic designer in 1994. The move to Munich in 1997 initiated a new one Phase one, accompanied by the founding of Art & Graphics. In the following years I worked as art director at Dakota Visual Communications and later as creative director at eleven eyes GmbH in Munich. International study visits to Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica and the USA between 2004 and 2008 enriched my artistic perspective. I have been a member of BBK Oberbayern since 2009, and from 2018 I have held the position of Senior Art Director at Schliesske Markenagentur. At the same time, I have been a member of the Munich South Artists' Circle since 2018. The opening of my studio “Doppelwerk” in Egling in 2019 marked another highlight of my artistic career. In 2021 I took on the position of Creative Director at Schliesske Markenagentur, and from 2023 I will dedicate myself to new challenges as a freelance Creative Director and spokesperson. My art work is characterized by the representation of time-critical and abstract-informal content, whereby I create a haptic and visually perceptible depth by painting over and layering. The alternation between large areas of color, gestural shapes and detailed symbols enables me to tell stories that invite the viewer to take an intensive look.
