This vibrant image showcases a beautifully decorated truck, showcasing a rich tapestry of colors and intricate designs typical of South Asian truck art. The front of the truck features an array of ornamental patterns including floral motifs, geometric shapes, and reflective embellishments that catch the eye. The truck's exterior is adorned with colorful beads, tassels, and painted designs, making it a striking piece of mobile art. The upper section of the truck is laden with wooden planks and other decor, hinting at the industrious spirit of local transport culture. The overall aesthetic is lively, embodying a sense of joy and celebration, indicative of the cultural heritage it represents.

This captivating truck art can serve as an eye-catching centerpiece in various interior settings such as cafes, restaurants, or eclectic home decor spaces. It can infuse a sense of cultural richness and vibrancy, making it suitable for areas like living rooms, hallways, or art galleries. Additionally, it would be great for thematic decorations at cultural events or festivals.

The wooden shed

With some of the vehicles, it was immediately clear that I absolutely had to photograph them. I've never seen a model like this before. I have no idea what the owner's intentions were. The vehicle already looks very old and slightly dusty, the paint is faded, but unfortunately I can't answer what that wooden superstructure up there is for. This superstructure is already sitting crookedly on the vehicle and I imagine, when driving at the average 50 km/h, whether this balustrade or balcony on this vehicle won't simply break off, because everything seems to be nailed together from wood.

I'm sure some people interested in art will wonder why the Pakistanis decorate their vehicles so elaborately? The question was answered quite simply when I asked: “If a truck looks nice, it also means that the company has good orders”. It is, so to speak, the figurehead and business card of every transport company. I would like to briefly introduce three techniques: classic painting, which reminds me of Bob Ross, reflector painting, where mosaics and pictures are stuck on and decorated using brightly colored foils, and finally, as with this vehicle, so-called metal painting, where aluminium sheets are processed to create a silver, decorated surface.
