Matthias Barth is an autodidactic photographer who translates his own visions of the world into pictures of epic dimensions. Although he mainly lives in Munich today, his journey through the viewfinder has expanded and developed for an international journey of discovery. Known for his versatile portfolio, Barth captures the essence of natural landscapes and urban jungles, inspiring his extensive trips and transforming ordinary scenes into extraordinary visual stories. Barth rediscovered the world through its cameras and uses a unique mix of analog and digital techniques - from traditional film techniques to mastery of drone photography and post -production. Barth's style has developed dramatically and will continue to do so. His style is not singular, but experimental and constantly changing to correspond to the energy and impressions of his motifs. Barth's approach often leads to photographs that are to the surreal boundaries.
