This captivating artwork features a surreal blend of elements set against a textured wooden backdrop. A prominent hand, elegantly reaching upwards, holds a banknote, symbolizing a bridge between reality and art. Surrounding it are artistically arranged various images, including classical figures and vibrant fruits—a deep red apple and a green apple, symbolizing temptation and freshness. The intricate architectural details above add a grandiosity to the scene, enhancing its visual impact. This piece is not only a feast for the eyes but also invites deeper interpretation, merging themes of nature, finance, and human form. This artwork would make a stunning addition to a modern living room, home office, or gallery space, where it can spark conversation and intrigue. Its rich colors and intricate details can complement both contemporary and classic interior designs, adding a touch of sophistication and depth. Position it as a focal point on a feature wall, or above a sleek console table to enhance the overall aesthetic of the space.

About the artist
Victor Hagea
München
Victor Hagea uses the means of traditional painting, both stylistically and technically. Conceptually he goes partly in the direction of surrealism, but wants to separate himself from the “fog fields of a certain type of alienation of reality”. Hagea does not consider himself to be a trompe l'oeil "ist" because he only uses this type of illusionistic painting as one tool among many others.
Victor Hagea graduated from the Fine Arts High School in Târgu Mureș. He completed his academic education in painting at the Academy of Fine and Decorative Arts in Cluj.
In January 1985, Hagea moved to Germany and worked as a lecturer in design theory, techniques, drawing and illustration between 1991 and 2004. Between 2004 and 2014 he was a lecturer at the Academy of Fashion and Design in Munich.
