This picture was created in the studio on the basis of photographic notes. It shows a dark green beech forest by the Baltic Sea on the Danish island of Funen. In the distance, a fly fisherman stands in the blue-gray water. I am always fascinated by the contrast between the forest and the sea. I am inspired by the vastness of this landscape, the contrast between the warm ochre-colored sand and the light, cool structure of the sky with the white clouds. The picture conveys a feeling of vastness, peace and freedom. The picture support is a self-covered canvas, primed four times, with a steel cable for suspension. My signature is on the front.
