Print on partially rusted metal 100x99x0.15cm Uncoated Edged A partially pre-corroded iron plate that received its individual rusting for many weeks. The design was adapted from a vectorized illustration of Andy Warhol. The image is duplicated and rasterized. With the underlying rust, the material also gets a contextual connection - almost as if it were connecting with itself. Metal as the carrier of a work of art gives a special effect through its density alone and any assumption that it conveys coolness is revised by the motif and at the latest by the warm rusty parts. The plate is unsealed, leaving it up to the collector to stop the corrosion and be part of the process. Edged above, ready to hang.
