This work consists of many different hay men from farmers in the Arlberg region.
However, due to the technical modernization of haymaking, these are now rarely used and lead a shadowy existence.
With this sculpture, Manfred would like to draw attention to this old craft so that it does not fall into oblivion. He thereby honors the countless hours that were spent on the production and use of the hay men.
No hay man is the same as the other, each one is individual in shape and color. This symbolizes the diversity and uniqueness on this EARTH.
