This unique piece of art showcases a striking three-dimensional wood sculpture, elegantly framed within a minimalist white box. The sculpture features an upward tapering design, composed of elongated wooden strips that create a dynamic sense of movement. The wood's natural grain and warm tones contrast beautifully with the crisp white frame, adding a sense of depth and interest. The overall design conveys a modern aesthetic, embodying both simplicity and sophistication, making it a perfect focal point in various interior settings.
This artwork can be effectively used to enhance various interior spaces, such as a contemporary living room, a stylish office, or an upscale entryway. Its neutral palette and clean lines allow it to blend seamlessly with both minimalist and modern decor styles, while also providing a warm touch to the ambiance. Placing it at eye level on a feature wall will draw attention and spark conversation.
The work “human flow WALL I” consists of 4 different types of wood: Maple, nut, lime and larch. The veneers were connected to each other by exact, planned project in such a way that they run out irregularly downwards and thereby generate a flowing dynamic. “human flow” was derived from the aphorism of the Greek natural philosophy Heraklit of Ephesos: “Pantha rhei” - Everything flows. Just as the water in the brook is always in motion, so all things, beings and phenomena in the world are always in change. Everything changes and develops, nothing remains as it is. The surface of the sculpture is brushed and natural. The frame is made of lime wood, MDF plate and white acrylic paint. On the back there is a suspension for easy mounting on the wall. All sculptures by Manfred Hellweger are unique.
