This striking piece of wall art features a meticulously crafted wooden sculpture, elegantly suspended within a sleek, white shadow box frame. The sculpture is composed of a series of elongated wooden strips that taper to create a visually dynamic shape reminiscent of a figure or an abstract representation of movement. The natural wood tones range from light beige to deeper honey hues, adding warmth and texture to the piece. The clean lines and minimalist design evoke a sense of modern sophistication, making it a perfect addition to contemporary decor. The interplay of light and shadow enhances its three-dimensional quality, captivating viewers from various angles. This artwork not only serves as a focal point but also brings an organic element into the space, promoting a serene atmosphere. This wooden sculpture is ideal for use in various interior settings, including modern living rooms, contemporary offices, or minimalist entryways. Its elegant yet simple design can complement neutral color palettes as well as bolder accents, making it versatile for different decor styles. Position it above a sleek console table, in a gallery wall arrangement, or as a standalone statement piece to elevate the overall aesthetic of your space.
The work “human flow WALL II” consists of 4 different types of wood:
maple, nut, larch and mahogany.
The veneers were connected to each other by exact, planned project in such a way that they run out irregularly downwards and thereby generate a flowing dynamic.
“human flow” was derived from the aphorism of the Greek natural philosophy Heraklit of Ephesos: “Pantha rhei” - Everything flows.
Just as the water in the brook is always in motion, so all things, beings and phenomena in the world are always in change.
Everything changes and develops, nothing remains as it is.
The surface of the sculpture is brushed and natural.
The frame is made of lime wood, MDF plate and white acrylic paint.
On the back there is a suspension for easy mounting on the wall.
All sculptures by Manfred Hellweger are unique.
