human nails WALL II consists of many individual wire pins, which are connected to one another by targeted welding points and thus unite into an abstracted, human form. For the first time, the artist uses a high-quality frame of solid, finely ground and natural maple wood to present the “human nails”. The contrast of the dark wire pins and the bright wood creates a special eye-catcher. The frame has no background plate. The upper area of the sculpture was machined with different tools and the entire surface was sealed with matte clear lacquer to avoid oxidizing the steel.
