The artist Erich Handlos was born on September 27, 1972 in Lilienfeld. The first drawings and works made of clay were created as a child. He completed his original training as a metal technician in 1992, which meant that metal also became a part of his artistic work! Since 1995 he has been officially a freelance artist and is known for his many techniques. Handlos founded his studio under the name 'Atelier of fine arts' in 1999 in a studio on Cathedral Square in St. Pölten. Another studio was opened in Baden near Vienna in 2006. The opening of his current studio in Vienna Alsergrund followed in 2021. Erich Handlos boasts worldwide exhibitions and art trips to Spain and Portugal. His awards also include many newspaper reports and photo publications in the print media. Since then, his works have found a place in collections and private collections.
