Lemmrich Christiane

My passion is experimenting. I live in Germany at the foot of the Black Forest and am a self-taught painter. Combining sculpture and painting in one work. that’s what makes my work so different. I prefer to create large-format works that I design from scratch, be it the size, the painting surface or the frame, I screw and glue everything together myself. This creates a unique relationship with the resulting work. The motif often only appears when the frame is finished. The abstract with lots of color, dynamically applied in several layers is also part of me. I have been living and working in Offenburg since 2007 and have taken part in numerous group exhibitions, most recently in London in February of this year. As well as several solo exhibitions. I can now also claim smaller awards.
