Marie-Ghislaine Beaucé, a French artist currently active in London, has been interested in textile fibers since her teenage years; At the National School of Fine Arts in Nantes and during the years she spent working in soft furnishing for home and yachts she understood the artistic potential of textile fibers, the absolute protagonists of her work; in her production made since 2015, the different fibers of varied textures, colors and materials intertwine and overlap each other creating a semi abstract and purely geometric lattice; through the structural design and playing on contrasts, Marie-Ghislaine enhances the peculiarities of each material passing from the soft sheen of silk to the roughness of cord, from the two- dimensionality of fabrics to the three-dimensionality of padded tubes, making her work a hybrid between patchwork and plasticism.
From 2023 she participated in numerous international group exhibitions from Madrid to Berlin, New York, Rome and Paris to name the most important as well as International Art Fairs in Miami, Brussels and Monaco.
In 2024 she has been awarded the International Prizes Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinci, Phoenix and the Global Art Virtuoso award.
