At the age of 40 I terminated my job in the financial industry and reinvented myself. From gray businessman to the colorful artist. I hadn't planned that. But the urge for a creative life grew stronger. I have been following my intuition since 2021 and let the things run their run. That takes courage and confidence. And that's exactly what my art is about. Having the courage to make your life confident. To free yourself from constraints and conventions. To be open to new things and recognize the possibilities that life offers. With my work, I would like to encourage people to free themselves from well -known patterns and to make their lives courageous. My pictures help the viewer to forget his doubts and concentrate on what is possible. I move between abstraction, minimalism and color field painting. When I start painting, I try to free myself from everything. No intention, no sketches, no rules. I only focus on the color and its effect. I poured and spray acrylic paints onto the wet canvas. The color finds its way into the picture. Sometimes wild, sometimes gentle, but always unexpectedly it flows over the canvas. I always work in several layers. Sometimes I give the color time to dry, sometimes I paint wet in wet. This creates structures with holes, cracks or stains in the different layers of color. The picture is getting more and more character layer of layer. Like every person whose character becomes more interesting and unique with every facet. Let things run. Let yourself drive and look forward to the unexpected. Have courage to look beyond the usual and not to be afraid of creating new realities. This applies to my art as well as to my way of life.
