Sven Hartmann

Sven Hartmann was born in Ticino, Bellinzona, the son of a Dutchman and a Swiss. There the foundation was laid for its permanent love for the art and the wonderful cuisine of Italy. After a well -founded training as a window decorator in Basel, his interest shifted more to drawing. It was only when a student and later also as a teacher that he was met at the arts and crafts schools in Basel and Zurich. At the same time, he gained experience in doll building and filming. His large survival figures made of corrugated cardboard, which were used in various decorations and also in theater and film, were spectacular. Sven Hartmann also developed many other figures and logos for advertising and industry. One example is the corporate identity of the Swiss homeopathy company Similasan with the two sympathizers Sim and San. His great passion is drawing and painting still life. Every few years there are exhibitions of its atmospheric, colorful watercolor pictures in well -known galleries. And because that's not all, Sven Hartmann creates wonderful paper with great passion that seem to be bronze. Figures, caricaturing the guys or beautiful Harlekins who stir the heart.
