Thierry Vobmann

Thierry Vobmann is a professional French artist who lives in Brittany, the most westerly place on the European continent. For more than ten years, he has devoted himself almost exclusively to abstract painting because he has set himself the goal of expressing everything that does not have a physical appearance such as sounds, smells, warmth, feelings, the wind… Thierry’s painting reflects the constant search for expression and movement. The forms borne under his palette knives pique the curiosity of the viewer, who stops and plunges, into a three-dimensional world in which he can give free rein to his imagination. Thierry uses the acrylic paint which, by its rapid drying, makes it possible to finalize a canvas while preserving the state of mind of the moment. The canvas then becomes the starting point where the forms, the colours, radiate and express themselves throughout the room. The gesture initiated on the canvas is projected into space far beyond its physical support. This is the magic of the abstract, each spectator receives the material he will use to finalize his personal perception of the work. Thierry Vobmann is a professional painter since 2006. More than two hundred of his creations are in private collections in Europe, Australia, China, Hong Kong, USA. Thierry also takes photographs that he offers you as a canvas print. Thanks to his artistic sense, he took original shots that he later improved, to give them more artistic and decorative value.
